Baidu held a product upgrade briefing for its app in Beijing on the afternoon of October 30.

Baidu Search has achieved recursive self-evolution and newly upgraded its Search AI API, with a promotional minimum price of only 4.9 yuan per thousand calls, lower than DeepSeek's search API.

At the same time, major upgrades were rolled out across the search box, AI camera, GUI visualization, and AI interactive applications, bringing users a smarter, more intelligent, and more entertaining experience, taking another step toward helping users "get everything done."

According to reports, with the upgraded Baidu app, the Wenxin Assistant moves search from "a single Q&A" to "a delivered result," where complex issues and high-frequency tasks can directly deliver finished outputs, while long-term tasks are continuously tracked and proactively reminded, now covering more than 170 scenarios.

The AI camera has evolved from "freezing a frame" to "flowing motion," supporting synchronized recognition and dynamic tracking of multiple targets, and enabling real-time conversation in 9 dialects including Northeastern, Sichuan, and Cantonese.

The GUI interactive scenarios on search result pages have increased fivefold, connecting to more than 5 billion data resources from government affairs, livelihood services, the central bank, and others; AI interactive dramas and interactive applications have also launched simultaneously.
