BYD Reveals Custom Paint Options for Sea Lion 08 Ocean-Flag SUV

On the evening of August 14, Zhang Zhuo, General Manager of the Sales Division for BYD's Ocean Network, unveiled the customized paint colors for the "Ocean Flagship SUV," the Sea Lion 08.

The available options include a range of exclusive and high-end finishes, as detailed below.

According to earlier reports, BYD first showcased the Sea Lion 08 at the Beijing Auto Show in April of this year. The vehicle is equipped with second-generation Blade Battery technology, flash charging capabilities, the Yunlian-A smart air suspension system, rear-wheel steering, and the "Eye of God" 5.0 intelligent driving system.

Based on information filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new SUV measures 5115mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3030mm. It will be available in both pure electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains. According to leaked information from the Di Fen Home official account, the pure electric version of the BYD Sea Lion 08 will offer range options of 800 kilometers and 900 kilometers, and will be available in both 5-seat and 6-seat configurations. The vehicle is currently expected to launch in August.
