Shenzhen Capchem Technology (SHE:300037) will contribute 20 million yuan to jointly establish a public welfare special fund.
The fund will have an initial capital of 30 million yuan, with the other six individual initiators contributing 10 million yuan, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The fund, managed by the Shenzhen Social Welfare Foundation, will focus on education assistance and community development.
Shares of the electronic chemicals manufacturer closed 3% lower Friday.
