PELL Bio-Med Technology's (TPE:6949) multi-chain CAR-T technology, NKp30, secured a patent in Japan, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The patent, titled "Isolated Nucleic Acid Molecule Comprising NKp30 Transmembrane Domain and Chimeric Antigen Receptor Comprising the Same," was granted under application No. 2024-167934.
The biomedical company said the technology can be applied to CAR-T treatment of solid tumors and could support the development of pipeline candidates for various solid-tumor indications.
