Perspective Reports 'Encouraging' Bamzireotide Profile in Tumor Trial

Perspective Therapeutics (CATX) said Friday Bamzireotide Navoxetan showed "encouraging" profile in phase 1/2a trial in patients with unresectable or metastatic somatostatin receptor type 2 expressing neuroendocrine tumors.

The firm said new interim results showed durable disease control in all three cohorts and 72% progression-free survival at 18 months across all patients who received at least one treatment.

The company also said robust activity was observed at three dose levels, adding that the drug candidate continued to be well-tolerated, with no discontinuations due to adverse events.

Perspective said it is targeting to complete phase 3 site start-up preparations around year-end 2026.

Shares were down over 20% in afternoon trading.
