Dover (DOV) reported in-line Q3 operating results, with upside in organic sales growth and in-line margins, though results were largely mixed across segments, RBC said in a report Thursday.
The report said secularly growing, capacity-constrained verticals continued to be the primary growth levers. It said Dover is also investing in greenfield capacity, suggesting orders momentum.
"With 2026 inefficiency costs rolling off, better volume leverage, and backlog coverage...the 2027 backdrop appears meaningfully better," the report said.
The note said Dover is managing margin headwinds well, though the scope of concurrent projects introduces execution risk.
RBC kept its sector perform rating while raising its price target to $219 from $216.
