MT Newswires Live10-28

Oracle (ORCL) on Tuesday announced a slate of AI products and partnerships at its Oracle AI World event, including Google's Tensor processing units and a native Snowflake (SNOW) service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Google TPUs will be offered on OCI starting in calendar 2027, the first time the chips will be available on a hyperscale cloud outside Google. Snowflake AI Data Cloud will run as a first-party OCI service that customers can buy directly from Oracle and pay for with Oracle Universal Credits.

Oracle also introduced Oracle AI Security Mesh, powered by OpenAI's cyber models, to find and help fix vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud systems. Customers must approve changes before they are applied.

Oracle Media Fabric, a platform for AI content creation and streaming, is planned within 12 months. New Oracle AI Data Platform capabilities, including business ontologies and Deep Insight Agents, are also due within 12 months, the company said.
