Alliance Healthcare (SGX:MIJ) subsidiary Alliance Medinet experienced a cybersecurity breach compromising the personal data of approximately 110,000 members, according to a Saturday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
An unauthorized third party accessed a database containing names, identification numbers, and contact details. The company said seven members potentially had bank account information exposed, and one member's medical diagnosis was breached.
The company has contained the incident, engaged independent cybersecurity and forensic specialists, and reported the breach to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission. Affected members are currently being notified.
