Yangzijiang Maritime Development (SGX:8YZ) signed sales contracts for six newbuild medium-range tankers with an aggregate gross sales value of $308 million, according to a Monday filing.
The contracts cover two tankers of about 49,500 deadweight tons each, scheduled for delivery in 2026 and 2027; and four tankers of about 49,800 deadweight tons each, scheduled for delivery in 2027 and 2028.
The company has signed sales contracts for 18 newbuild vessels with an aggregate gross value of $805 million over a 10-month period, it said.
