Indonesia has reduced natural gas exports to Singapore by 31 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (mmscfd) amid efforts to strengthen domestic supply and local energy security, Reuters reported on Saturday, quoting Djoko Siswanto, chairman of KK Migas, the government agency overseeing Indonesia's upstream oil and gas industry.
The supply cut comprises 15 mmscfd of gas from Natuna and another 16 mmscfd of gas from Sumatra, the report said.
As per the report, the majority of Indonesia's gas exports to Singapore are delivered through pipelines, and the cuts would be around 9% of that supply.
