I’m not siding with the panic shorts here. I’d avoid SPCE, be cautious on RDW, and only look at RKLB/ASTS in tranches. SpaceX’s IPO may suck oxygen out of the room short term, but it also validates the space economy long term. RKLB looks like the higher-quality “picks and shovels” space play, while ASTS is the high-risk/high-reward satellite broadband bet. I’d rather scale into RKLB on weakness than chase ASTS or short the sector after a big flush.

SpaceX Raises $40B — Has the Cloud Provider Shakeout Begun?
SpaceX rose 1.89% Friday, while CoreWeave fell 2.46% and Nebius 0.27%, as investors weighed different funding models. Reports say SpaceX raised $40B in debt and warned that over 200 AI cloud firms could fail. CoreWeave faces roughly $640M in interest costs; Nebius secured $3.5B from Citi and powered a 300-MW New Jersey data center. Bulls see capital and infrastructure consolidating among leaders; bears warn debt does not guarantee high-return contracts. What balance-sheet evidence separates a durable platform from a leveraged capacity trade?
