$ZETA: Strong Execution Finally Being Rewarded by the Market:
In my view, today’s move in $ZETA is fully justified.
The company was trading at just around 3x sales despite delivering roughly 40% revenue growth, recently achieving profitability, posting record operating margins, and extending its streak of 19 consecutive beat-and-raise quarters.
For a long time, the stock appeared to be weighed down by the broader SaaS sentiment and a lack of appreciation for the strength of its competitive moat. However, there comes a point where consistent execution becomes impossible to ignore. With improving net income, free cash flow, and operating leverage, the business looks well positioned for continued earnings expansion.
This is another reminder that patience can be rewarded. Building a position in a company that continues to execute while the market undervalues its fundamentals can ultimately lead to meaningful long-term returns.
One of the biggest takeaways from the earnings call was management’s comment that its forward guidance does not meaningfully include any contribution from its partnership with $PLTR (Palantir). If that partnership develops as expected, it could provide an additional long-term growth driver that isn’t yet reflected in the company’s outlook.
