$Micron Technology(MU)$ $SK hynix(SKHY)$ $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ $iShares Semiconductor ETF(SOXX)$ If we keep printing 5%+ GDP, employment data keeps improving, productivity keeps improving thanks to AI, and inflation comes in better than expected despite elevated energy prices — at some point that consumer is going to stop complaining about everything and go back to their regular weekend shopping binge.
That's the historically cyclical part of memory. It would be consumers out buying new laptops and cellphones, replacing their average 13 year old cars. Consumers have been in this hunkering posture over the last 7 or so years since Covid. Some recovery in the pent-up demand in all of that, and the memory market will surprise to the upside on top of AI infrastructure demand.
