ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (NYSE:ZIM) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.78 billion, up 9% year over year, with net income increasing to $64 million from $24 million.

The company transported 922 thousand TEUs during the quarter, up 3% from the prior-year period, while higher freight rates contributed to revenue growth.

ZIM reported adjusted net income of $77 million, adjusted EBITDA of $491 million and free cash flow of $386 million during the second quarter, while net leverage stood at 1.6x with net debt of $2.77 billion and a net cash position of $2.46 billion.

ZIM expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $2 billion–$2.4 billion and adjusted EBIT of $700 million–$1.1 billion, and according to the company, plans to distribute dividends based on 2026 results.

The company said its 2026 outlook reflects expected operating conditions in the container shipping market and ongoing fleet and commercial activities.

Meanwhile, ZIM shareholders approved the pending $35-per-share cash acquisition by Hapag-Lloyd, which the companies expect to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 subject to regulatory and other customary approvals.
