I'm continuing to DCA into ServiceNow ($NOW) because I still believe the long-term fundamentals remain much stronger than the short-term price action suggests. ServiceNow is no longer simply an IT workflow company—it is positioning itself as an AI control tower for enterprises, connecting AI, data, security and workflows on a single platform. Its Q2 2026 results reinforced that thesis, with subscription revenue growing 24.5% year over year and remaining performance obligations reaching $29 billion.
What gives me confidence is that the AI story is increasingly translating into real commercial adoption. ServiceNow AI crossed $1 billion in annual contract value in Q2, while agentic AI deployments increased significantly. The company is also expanding beyond traditional IT workflows into cybersecurity, governance and autonomous operations, creating additional avenues for long-term growth.
That is why I'm comfortable accumulating during periods of weakness and volatility. I'm not trying to perfectly time the bottom—I'm building a position in a company whose recurring-revenue model, enterprise customer base and AI opportunity give me conviction over a multi-year horizon. The market may continue to debate valuation and near-term growth, but I'm more interested in whether the underlying business continues executing, and so far, the numbers are giving me plenty of reasons to stay patient.
I'm now almost done with my accumulation phase for NOW. At this stage, I'm less interested in chasing every short-term move and more interested in waiting for the next major trend to develop. Once sentiment improves and the market starts pricing in ServiceNow's AI growth more aggressively, I believe the really meaningful rally could finally kick off. For me, the strategy remains simple: accumulate patiently, hold with conviction, and let the fundamentals eventually do the heavy lifting.
