Wall Street bounced back Thursday, with the S&P 500 +1.13%, Nasdaq +1.62% and Dow +0.71% as oil prices and Treasury yields eased.
After Wednesday’s Fed-driven selloff, the market got some breathing room.
The Fed raised rates 25 bps to 3.75%–4.00% — its first hike in more than three years — while its latest projections point to a 4.1% median policy rate at year-end, suggesting another hike could still be ahead.
Meanwhile, Brent crude fell to around $103 and the 10-year Treasury yield moved back below 5%, giving risk assets some relief.

🏦 But the Fed is still fighting elevated inflation
So is Thursday’s move the start of a real rebound — or simply a relief rally after Wednesday’s selloff?
For me, the next clues are oil + Treasury yields + the Fed’s next move. 👀
