传OpenAI与银行商讨Q4上市 高管担忧竞争对手Anthropic抢先IPO

智通财经APP获悉，知情人士透露，OpenAI正在与银行进行非正式洽谈，商讨今年第四季度进行首次公开募股(IPO)的可能性。这家市值 5000 亿美元的 ChatGPT 开发商也在扩充其财务团队，聘请 Ajmere Dale 担任新的会计主管，并聘请 Cynthia Gaylor 担任负责投资者关系的财务主管。
这份报道发布之际，人工智能领域的竞争日趋激烈，该公司竞争对手Anthropic预计将于2028年首次实现收支平衡——比OpenAI早两年。OpenAI的高管私下里表达了对Anthropic抢先上市的担忧。
Anthropic是Claude AI助手的开发商，目前正在为今年的 IPO 做准备。Anthropic已聘请多位财务人员，包括负责资本市场的 Andrew Zloto 和黑石集团投资人 Kevin Chang。
这两家人工智能初创公司都在进行新一轮融资。OpenAI寻求融资超过 1000 亿美元，估值可能达到 8300 亿美元。软银计划追加投资 300 亿美元，亚马逊(AMZN.US)则有意投资500亿美元。
据本周报道，Anthropic完成了最新一轮融资，估值达到3500亿美元，融资额在100亿至150亿美元之间。消息人士称，如果微软(MSFT.US)和英伟达(NVDA.US)也参与投资，融资额可能还会继续增长。
