Pakistan's defense minister Khawaja Asif said the US and Iran are "close to some sort of arrangement" over the Strait of Hormuz, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

Asif told reporters in Islamabad that "things are shaping up in favor of peace," without giving details, according to Bloomberg.
