Straits Trading's H1 Loss Narrows; Revenue Jumps

The Straits Trading Company (SGX:S20) logged a net loss attributable to owners of SG$11.1 million for the first half compared with a loss of SG$40.8 million a year ago.
The investment holding company, with operations in resources, real estate, and hospitality, recorded a loss per share of SG$0.024 compared with SG$0.09 a year earlier, a Singapore Exchange filing on Monday showed.
For the six months ended June, revenue was SG$400 million, up 50% from SG$267.5 million a year ago.
