Samsung C&T (KRX:028260) has revised the contract period for its Qatar Dukhan Solar Power Plant project, extending the end date from Feb. 28, 2030 to June 30, 2030.
The revision was filed on Aug. 19, with the original contract disclosure submitted on Dec. 12, 2025, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The 2,000MW solar plant contract, awarded by QatarEnergy, is valued at 1.54 trillion won, representing 3.66% of Samsung C&T's 2024 consolidated sales.
The project involves engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the solar facility, with billing and payment based on construction progress.
