YTL Power Signs Pact with JL Land to Develop New Data Center Campus in Malaysia

YTL Power International Berhad (KLSE:YTLPOWR), through its subsidiary SIPP Power, has partnered with JLand Group to jointly develop a gigawatt-scale data center campus at Sedenak Tech Park West, Johor, Malaysia, according to a Wednesday statement.
Under the pact, SIPP Power will acquire about 145 acres, with an option for up to 400 more, expanding the potential campus footprint to about 545 acres.
The Sedenak campus is expected to complement the company's YTL Green Data Centre Park in Kulai, Johor, with a planned capacity of up to 1.2 gigawatts.
