BeOne Medicines (ONC) said Friday that its Tevimbra, in combination with Ziihera and chemotherapy, demonstrated sustained survival benefit based on new results from the second interim and final formal analysis of the phase 3 trial in gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma, the company said Friday.
The new analysis was conducted after 35.3 months of follow-up with results showing a median overall survival of 27 months, four months longer than just the Ziihera-chemotherapy combination, the company said.
Median progression-free survival also significantly improved to 12.7 months with the Tevimbra combination therapy. The safety profile was generally consistent with the first interim analysis, with no new safety signals identified, the company said.
