On October 23, President Donald J. Trump said on X that Bombardier is investing $270 million and creating jobs in Kansas, Texas, and Indiana, crediting Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton with helping secure the deal.
Trump’s post praised Marshall’s work representing Kansas and lauded both officials for their roles. “Bombardier is investing 270 MILLION DOLLARS, creating THOUSANDS of American Jobs in Kansas, Texas, and Indiana.” He added that Marshall and Paxton “have done an incredible job in getting this Deal done” and called them “STRONG Fighters for American Workers.”
He broadened the message to the national economy, writing: “Companies are coming to America, investing BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, and creating JOBS like never before. They know that under President DONALD J. TRUMP, AMERICA IS THE PLACE TO BE! We are bringing back our Jobs, our Manufacturing, and the AMERICAN DREAM. THE GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA IS HERE!” He framed the statement as evidence of rising investment and job creation in the United States under his leadership.
