$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ VIX is heading toward zero, basically near the 2026 low at a time when we should be moving into a higher volatility environment. If the market is rewarding 3.5% inflation, shorts are in trouble for what feels like forever. Burry needs a wellness check.
$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ An update on that $120K challenge account. Started at $18K about three weeks ago, now sitting at $44.3K after a weekly gain of roughly $5K. DRAM had a nice move, putting the position up about 9%. I also have a covered call on MSTR currently in the green, which gives a bit of downside cushion. Current holdings are ORCL, OKLO, INTC, MSTR, ENPH, DRAM, and BTC. I trimmed DRAM by 200 shares and reduced Oracle a bit to free up some capital while keeping risk in check. Yes, I use margin on shares, but I don't plan to sit on it for long.
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ I still remember when TSLA first went wild and started swinging $100 overnight in stock price. I won't be sitting on the sidelines this time. Added more calls.
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ I've been thinking a lot about the connection between the surge in 100+ million dollar pro athlete contracts in the NFL and NBA — a new one seems to pop up every other day in 2026 — and the stock market hitting all-time highs this year. The idea is that all that money gets funneled right back into SPY, QQQ, DIA through the players' financial advisors. It's pretty interesting to think about.
Looking at a bubble chart that compares retail interest, based on watcher counts, for stocks across the AI infrastructure stack. $Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd(CRDO)$ below $130 was a favorite earlier this year. Now I really like $Celestica(CLS)$ below $320. The dislocations between retail interest and market cap or revenue growth are pretty intriguing. Memory and other well-established mega-caps are excluded from this. Revenue growth year-over-year is capped at 100% and the watcher count is capped at 50k just for presentation purposes. $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ SpaceX is becoming one of the most crowded short trades on the market. With an estimated 30-35% of the free float sold short and more than 50% of shares on loan, the setup is starting to look increasingly interesting. If earnings surprise to the upside, key levels to watch are $120-125 for the first meaningful pressure on short sellers, $130-135 where things could accelerate as stop-losses begin to trigger, and $150+ where a full-blown short squeeze becomes much more realistic if buying volume stays strong. Similar squeeze dynamics have played out before in $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ , $GameStop(GME)$ ,
