$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Bezos is buying a piece of Liverpool at a $6B valuation, while $Manchester United PLC(MANU)$ is trading at $3.67B. Feels like buying a dollar for fifty cents. Even at $33 a share, where Sir John Ratcliffe bought his stake, the market cap is only around $5.5B. I'm long and have been for a while.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Earnings season is nearly wrapped up. Almost 90% of S&P 500 companies have reported, and the results are coming in stronger than expected. Q2 EPS growth is tracking around +30% YoY, excluding investment gains from $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ and AMZN. That is well above the 22% growth expected on July 1. Including those one-time gains, EPS growth approaches +50% YoY. What stands out is that 76% of companies have beaten EPS expectations. That matches last quarter, which was the strongest beat rate since 2021. AI spending is not happening in isolation. Hyperscaler capex is increasingly showing up through stronger cloud growth, earnings, and operating leverage. The market may be ente
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Amazon seems to be at the forefront of what could be called the 2nd Industrial Revolution. Based on the due diligence I've done, pretty much everything is pointing in that direction.
$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ SMCI may break under $300 this coming week. glad i reversed positions and bought some puts. you've got to recognize and accept when the momentum has changed: when stocks are going up, the gains can be fantastic. but when stocks are dropping, the losses can be... unbelievable. that's why they call it - getting your face ripped off.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ While I love this company, and have owned shares for over 10 years,at this point, it seems to pop up every now and then and I can't find any reason why.It was up .9% premarket, and the economic data was ok, just ok. It's becoming moreevident that "people" must think the economy is going to collapse and keep getting proved wrong.AMZN long and forever hold.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Bearish sentiment won't last.AMD is making all the right moves.Hiring NVDAs global AI strategist as well as the world's leading engineers is what u want to see a growing company do.Lisa Su is a visionary. On the other end u have companies wanting diversification away from NVDA.Intel is having all kinds of issues, the latest being their chips failing Broadcoms tests. All this business is heading AMDs way.Not just AI, but the server market, the PC market is going to ge dominated by AMDI see 250 by Christmas a very real possibility
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ I believe the year 2024 will be remembered as the year Palantir became the most important and valued AI company on Earth, and Palantir will also be the most important AI company outside of Planet Earth.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ NVDA is trading back to the same levels as 4 months ago.Though these last 4 months have been extremely volatile with a high of $140 and a low of $90.I think name sees a fresh ATH by eoy.Give me $150 albeit a choppy path there but a path nonetheless.
$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ Hindenshort came at SMCI just like Cool Hand Luke—with a handfull of nothin’! 😆I took the opportunity to open a small position. SMCI is a little outside my wheelhouse, but I see them in every data center and they will be important laying the infrastructure, so probably good things ahead.Hindenburg crashed and burned with their SMCI report. They should be investigated for this one. They did something good with Nikola. This was just a blatant cash grab and stock price manipulation.
