$Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ $MDA Space Ltd.(MDA)$ Rocket Lab's satellite platforms built for MDA Space have successfully reached orbit, supporting Globalstar's direct-to-device communications services. The eight advanced satellite platforms are the first batch in a constellation of 17 platforms Rocket Lab has built under a $143 million deal with MDA Space. MDA Space is the prime contractor for replenishing Globalstar's existing constellation, which provides direct-to-device communications and IoT applications from orbit.
