📢The company reported revenue of $1.68 billion for its 1QFY2027, up 11.3% compared to the previous year
However, due to lower margin, earnings for the same quarter ended June was up just 6% to $75.1 million
The company attributes this to developments in the Middle East, which disrupted cargo trade flows and flight activity tempo (The Edge Singapore)
⚡Looking ahead, the company said that the increased fuel, transportation and operating costs typically flow through with a lag, and expect the financial impact on SATS to be more pronounced in the coming quarter should the geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions persist
