Management stated that ongoing supply chain investments are on track to resolve US repair capacity constraints by 2027.
Global logistics business Brambles (ASX:BXB) posted full-year sales revenue of US$7.05 billion and underlying profit of US$1.50 billion.
Weaker consumer demand drove lower volumes compared to last year, but strong new business offset these declines.
The company stated that US repair capacity constraints created an adverse earnings impact of roughly US$90 million.
“In an increasingly challenging operating environment, our focus on commercial discipline, asset efficiency and proactive cost management across the organisation supported earnings growth despite short-term cost pressures in our US business during the fourth quarter,” said Brambles’ CEO Graham Chipchase.
The business completed US$509 million in share buy-backs while declaring a final dividend of 23.15 US cents per share.
Executives forecast US$800-US$950 million free cash flow. Sales revenue for FY27 is expected to grow between 2% and 4%, while underlying profit is eyed to increase between 2% and 6%.
Following the announcement, the Brambles share price was unchanged at $19.47.
The company declared a final dividend of 23.15 US cents per share, with total dividends for FY26 reaching 46.15 US cents per share.
The company stated that it expects to progressively utilise 3.4 million excess pallets in the US by 2028.
