Asian stocks rose, tracking Wall Street gains as Anthropic's IPO filing revived AI enthusiasm ahead of major tech earnings and the Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision. Japan and South Korea advanced, lifting MSCI's Asia-Pacific index 0.6%. The S&P 500 gained 0.7%, the Nasdaq 100 rose 1.1%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index surged 2.8%, its strongest session since September 21.

AI financing dominated headlines. Meta plans to raise up to $95 billion through common and preferred share offerings, Broadcom secured a $63 billion financing deal with Bank of America, Blackstone, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley to fund chips for Anthropic, and SpaceX signed an approximately $40 billion equipment-financing lease with Apollo Global Management for its AI expansion. Anthropic's planned IPO will test investor appetite amid concerns over elevated valuations and mounting AI spending.

Investors await earnings from Alphabet and Microsoft on Wednesday.
