$Western Digital(WDC)$  Back in the spring when WDC was around $430, I was saying the shares had run too far too fast. The forward PE at that point was roughly 30 based on the estimates available then, and I was concerned the dilution from the convertible would pressure shares toward year end. Sunny's $1000 price targets and daily $50 bumps aside, I started selling weekly or biweekly calls way out of the money against my shares, and that generated a nice profit while I held on to my position. It felt good near $800 with covered call income coming in, but I knew it wouldn't last. Should have sold at $790. Sure enough, it made a full round trip, but the covered call money kept coming in. The last 3 weeks the shares moved back into bargain territory. Estimates have gone way up while the shares have come way down. Sometimes I wish I hadn't been right and the shares were still trading above $700, but here we are. In April and May I was calling for $600-700 by mid to late 2027, and I still stand by that. I used the profits from the call sales to add to my already large core position essentially for free, so in the end I hope it works out. I think others may want to consider adding or opening a position if they are able to do so. Thanks to Gogatrz for providing many of the very limited posts with any value on this board.
