I remember going to a talk 15 years where a computer science professor talked about a computing cluster made from single units of cellphone chips and powered by solar. The idea was with about 1 million plus units scattered in the Australian desert would be a pretty good self powered super computer. SpaceX is taking this to another level, in space. This may be a better place for our cloud computing resources and terrestrial data centres.
@Shyon:$SpaceX(SPCX)$ I am starting to recollect SpaceX(SPCX) again after watching its recent price action. The stock appears to be forming a higher low after the earlier pullback, and the trend is beginning to turn higher. For me, this is an interesting technical setup to start rebuilding my position gradually rather than chasing after a strong rebound. My long-term thesis on SpaceX has not changed. I remain bullish on the combination of Starlink, space infrastructure and AI computing. Recent reports also highlight SpaceX's aggressive push into AI infrastructure, although the planned debt financing makes me more cautious about valuation and execution risk. I am therefore not going all-in. I prefer to collect in batches and let the price action conf
I am adding more to bring my entry average down, 2.55 is a basement price given the resource and strategic investment by DOE and GM. Mining always has setbacks and cost overuns. These will present buying opportunities to bring the average down. I can buy about 2.5x the shares now than when I started looking at LAC 6 months ago.
@Wolveofwallstreet:$Lithium Americas Corp.(LAC)$ 1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now? The Fed’s latest rate hike has reset market expectations, but I see this volatility as an opportunity rather than a reason to panic\. I’m adding to high\-conviction positions like **NVDA** and **PLTR**, focusing on long-term AI growth instead of short\-term market noise. 2️⃣ What’s my plan from here? Stay disciplined, manage risk, and keep averaging into quality companies on meaningful pullbacks. I’m investing with a multi-year horizon, not trading headlines. Patience and conviction remain my edge.
Yes and it may provide a guide for future unlocks, there is a real big one on the horizon next year but I don't think Elon Musk will sell any as he has to be seen to be backing his venture.
Looks good, but this may be driven down a week later by more spaceX coming on stream. Not an issue for long holders or those looking for an entry. These are both good companies with a certain future. But I expect a yoyo for the next few Qs while Neutron and Starship are trailed and refined.
Earning Preview: Rocket Lab USA, Inc. Q2 revenue is expected to increase by 70.86%, and institutional views are mostly bullish
The words "integrated space infrastructure business" is a good selling point on the dawn of space exploration. A lot of kiwis are investing in Rocketlab, it is one the top10 in NZ.

The workplace is not going to change its software suit anytime soon. Tertiary training - just about every spreadheet course is excel, every presentation course powerpoint. The thing is people hate having learn something different to do the same thing. Unless AI completly takes over and does this work for us, Microsoft suite is like the internal combustion engine, is here for generations. Hopefully getting easier to use. As long as the cost of use does not become prohibitive. Then the free stuff becomes attractive, if not already in use.
MSFT Is Down 23% In 2026: Why This Strategist Says Investors Are 'Significantly Overselling' The Stock
They all have clients, but there are alternatives to shopping on Amazon. What are the alternatives for google search and microsoft suite. Tried open office, but work gives me windows and software for free so we are locked into Microsoft and are unlikely to change anytime soon.
Amazon, Microsoft and Google Are Quietly Morphing Their Businesses — and Wall Street Is Missing the Big Picture
something had to finally give, there has been mainly sentiment not logic keeping MSFT down.
@Merle Ted:$Microsoft(MSFT)$ I find it hard to believe it's going to move back up to break 430 again just to sell off down to 300. The kind of price action we've been seeing lately doesn't feel like it's driven by retail. And if it's institutions, they wouldn't be putting this much money on the line just to watch it fall way down. MSFT deserves to break out and put in another leg up toward 450 soon.
I wonder if this will result in a draw down of cash from the rest of the market. The new investment dollars have to come from somewhere. It may have already started with retail investors shoring up cash.

If I had to pick one date it would be the 20th May. If Nvidia earnings don't satisfy an already expectant and entitled retail market, this could trigger a correction.
Seven Weeks and a Warning: Macro Clouds, Silicon Lining
Microsoft, the world is not going to change its daily software suite anytime soon. Google, there are alternatives to chrome that people use. Amazon, you don't have to shop there. Meta, there are alternatives that people use and not everyone is into social media. Just about everyone has Word, Excel & PPT.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Yes, because there is not going to be a global shift away from MSWORD and EXCEL. Microsoft should be rewarded for giving the world Excel, it is so useful for so many things. Will buy more if it pulls back again.
Probably go Amazon. It has a job to do in all weathers.
@koolgal:Market At The Bottom? Which Mag 7 is the Best Buy Now? 🌟🌟🌟The bottom is never a place we can see clearly while standing in it. It is only obvious in hindsight when everyone suddenly becomes a genius. Is this a good time to buy? Sentiment is fragile - that is when bargains appear. When fear is elevated, volatility spikes and everyone is waiting for confirmation, the best prices often slip by unnoticed. You don't need to catch the exact bottom. You just need to buy great companies at fair or discounted prices. Take for example the Magnificent 7. They seem to have lost their magnificence.
