$Paramount Skydance Corp(SKYD)$ SKYDWSDavid Ellison is channeling the good parts of Steve Jobs. He knew him well. Youth is on our side this time. Technology from Skydance should take us out of the dark ages of moribund storytelling and the patronizing garbage coming from names like $Walt Disney(DIS)$ $Netflix(NFLX)$ and AMZN.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Jassy's "sold-out to 27-inch" comment is bullish, though the interview was already out Friday midday on X and other outlets. The news just didn't hit the wires and major media until after the close. He's made similar remarks before, so it's hard to say how much the market will actually react. That said, all the pessimism around the Anthropic IPO tied to the hyper growth slowdown in August-September seems to be reversing. Eventually people will just treat the Anthropic vs. OpenAI rivalry as normal. We're in a decent spot there with both served through Bedrock.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ George Carlin had a point when he said to never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. There were probably cavemen who panic sold the wheel right after it was invented.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ Their SaaS business is rock solid, and AI is the future. This could reach $500 in 3 years. Most likely closing between $160 and $180 by the end of the year. Next week is their biggest annual conference.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ 45 million shares shorted against a 3.03 billion share float really did the work. Those shorts pulled it off even with the broader market up, with only ORCL among tech mostly moving higher, and CRWV getting pushed around as well. Another day passes, and this one should get moving tomorrow.
That rent line on $Microsoft(MSFT)$ is how I see it as well. As long as it holds above 500 while the market grinds higher, those puts just bleed a little each day and buy some peace of mind. They only stop being rent if 500 gives way on a close.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ This stock is strange for day trading, and the technical setup is in an odd spot. We should have dropped to 119 already. Sellers came in very aggressive trying to break support, but they failed. This could honestly go either way, but we are sitting in a support zone and it is consolidating. I am leaning bullish, and if it manages to break to the upside, it is going to be a violent break.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ SP should go parabolic once the AI center comes online. That's only a few weeks out. It's depressed right now, so I'm watching for a triple from current prices. Just my honest opinion.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ Stop with the complaints. We reached over 131 today and kept pushing higher after hours. This stock will pay off eventually. Some of the whining in here is really testing my patience though. I'm about to start hitting the Block button again.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ ORCL has been solid and steady since this morning. There is news that Nvidia is working with Oracle on a “backstopping” contract to make sure ORCL can carry out its massive data center plan without being affected by the debt concern. Once the news is formally announced, it should push ORCL over 200 effortlessly.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Amazon isn't just an e-commerce giant. Its retail marketplace has a serious logistical moat and massive customer reach, but the real story is what sits underneath. AWS powers a big chunk of cloud computing and generative AI infrastructure with high margins, and the advertising business is turning into a real monetization engine at the point of purchase. The company keeps using cash flow from its consumer operations to fund and scale those higher-margin tech and logistics segments, so it ends up acting less like a traditional retailer and more like a compounding machine built on global trade, enterprise technology, and consumer habit.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ PLTR has a market cap above $60 billion, which is larger than ORCL, yet its revenue is only $4.48 billion. ORCL, on the other hand, has revenue of $68 billion, a market cap of $394 billion, and a backlog of $665 billion in RPO. It's nuts that Oracle is at $130 — way underpriced.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ Larry's move to build the infrastructure for the future of AI is the biggest development since Rockefeller took over petroleum. I keep adding whenever I can, and I believe this stock will change lives down the road.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ Say what you will, this is a retirement stock. Most discounted mega cap on the market right now. Once that backlog turns into revenue, the investment account will print. I'll just hold and add with every paycheck. Playing the long game.
$Oracle(ORCL)$ ORCL has been moving one step up, one step down for about 2 weeks now. Hopefully the pattern shifts toward more up steps and fewer down steps going forward.
