$Broadcom(AVGO)$ After five straight down days, the less experienced crowd went and bought puts again. Hock is probably laughing at the bears right now.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Buyers seem to be stepping in near the lower part of the recent range in a fairly methodical way, which does look somewhat encouraging.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ New people checking out the board and unusual activity for a weekend. Spartan, I see you. People looking for deals after that crazy sell off on tech names.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ I am now confident there are at least 8 real AVGO bulls holding things down here. It does feel like there are a lot of bots around. That is 8 of us against what looks like an army of bears, bots, and professional FUD spreaders.
$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ A friend high up at Dell mentioned they are losing deals to Super Micro on price. Dell is still the 800lb gorilla, but they have been raising prices dramatically. Similar situation with $Broadcom(AVGO)$ , where customers are getting squeezed on VMware pricing. People can't switch to $Nutanix Inc.(NTNX)$ fast enough.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ If AI was a bubble or consumers wanted to cut capex, how is NVDA barely wavering? They are getting far higher margins from hyperscalers than us while our chips deliver 70% cost savings. If customers had to cut capex, they would scale down on GPUs before us. Before the past quarter's earnings, NVDA was around 190-200. They gapped up on earnings while we gapped down. That just does not add up.
For a long-term investor, this is just an opportunity to add to a position. For anyone looking short term, nothing here is sustainable, so take gains when you have them and move on. I have to keep reminding myself of that. $Broadcom(AVGO)$
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ At some point this will cross 400 easily again. The current market situation is frustrating, but AI is not a bubble — it is the future, so I'm keeping myself positioned for the right time.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ What's somewhat funny is that I'd actually rather see a real correction that finds the ultimate support, instead of the slow, non-directional nonsense of the last few months. That might give a real, durable reset.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ BS looks oversold. Anthropic grew 46% quarter over quarter to $16.8b. The S-1 should be out soon. That's a $70B annual rate and they said they turned a profit for the quarter. Private IB meeting.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Wall Street keeps going back and forth on AI spending, circular financing, and whether these huge infrastructure commitments can actually hold up. Meanwhile, Anthropic reportedly just posted some numbers from an investor presentation: $16.8B in Q3 revenue, up 46% sequentially, an 11% adjusted operating margin, positive cash flow, and $1.70 in revenue for every $1 spent on compute. They also reportedly have $518B in long-term infrastructure commitments. These are investor presentation figures, not audited financials. The interesting part is that AI demand seems to be turning into real revenue, and the economics look like they're improving quickly. Broadcom supplies critical custom AI silicon and
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Triple bottom showing from the last earnings report, with support around $342.33-$343. There are also three gaps to fill on the way back up, starting with $357.31 at yesterday's close. Now we just need to see the follow-through.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Semis had a rough session, but AVGO actually showed relative strength. SOX was down roughly 4.3%, while AVGO finished around -3.1%. That matters. This wasn't AVGO-specific weakness, it was a broad semiconductor selloff. AVGO held up better than the sector, and off-exchange participation didn't spike to levels that would point to obvious institutional distribution. So the setup I see is: sector-wide de-risking, plus AVGO relative strength, plus no clear dark-pool distribution signal. That's the kind of behavior I want to see before a rebound. $350–340 is the key area now. If the sector stabilizes, AVGO could be one of the first names to recover.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ We're really 10% away from where we were last week. I can't believe this. It took us 2 months to fill our earnings gap, only to lose it all in 3 days. And then you have stocks like AMD still up 15% in the past month even with their drop this week.
Saying an entire bull market is a casino probably comes easier when your own balance sheet is impenetrable. The skepticism in his tone aside, $Broadcom(AVGO)$ is still capturing half the custom silicon market.
