$Intel(INTC)$ CRWD has been making higher lows on the daily. As long as $255 holds, I'm watching for an upside move toward $261 and then $275. The CEO was on CNBC talking about how there will be a lot of breaches in the coming months from the PHP vulnerability. PANW is another cybersecurity name on my watchlist this week. There's a gap to fill from $383.40 to $397 on the daily. I'd be looking at calls if the stock moves into that gap. The calls look decent as long as $380 holds. XOM is breaking out of a flag pattern on the daily. Oil stocks are on alert with the possibility of the Iran conflict being back on the table. The stock has hit all-time highs. If $180 holds, I'm watching $190 and $200. INTC is sitting
$Intel(INTC)$ NOV20 90C, still actionable. Zone: $86.35 to $87.57 Invalidation: close under $84.65 Objectives: $92.96, then $98.12 The math works out to a 6.9% move to the first objective and 12.8% to the second, against 2.7% risk on the invalidation. That's better than 4 to 1 to the second objective. Think of a prizefighter who took a hard knock on Thursday and got straight back up on Friday. Intel fell more than 8 percent on Thursday, then closed Friday at $86.96, up almost 2 percent, holding just above the low it printed the day before. This is a swing into the October 29 earnings report, where the question is fairly straightforward: can the chip maker show the server business is picking up steam into the fourth quarter. If that low holds,
$Intel(INTC)$ We could drop another 10% right before earnings next week. My thinking, which is not always right but often is, centers on the percentage drop after the X from the blue EMA line. In this case, we are not low enough to give the shorts their money or the bulls a reason to buy in for the next leg up around earnings. I have to watch the smaller charts carefully to see which direction we go, and also keep focus on the larger charts like the 1 hour, 4 hour, and 1 day charts. My feeling is not good. Sorry to buy this even lower than the current price, so an extra buy opportunity.
$Intel(INTC)$ Kramer loves the stock and thinks it'll hit 200 within a year. But with the Kramer curse hanging over it, I'm not sure. I'd rather buy it a bit cheaper, maybe around 85. I'd buy there, though if I never get a chance to, that just means others are making good money, so that would be a good sign.
