The $5 Trillion Market Cap Marks Its Peak: The End of Nvidia’s Legend Unfolding

Risk Disclaimer: This article is for market commentary purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. Leveraging its CUDA ecosystem and first-mover advantage in computing power, Nvidia has long captured over 70% of global revenue from AI accelerator chips. As the biggest beneficiary amid the global AI computing expansion cycle, it has reached a market cap of $5 trillion and forged the core legend of this AI bull market. Yet the pendulum of cycles always reverts to the mean. The confluence of industry sentiment, competitive landscape and technical patterns now signals that the era of steep premium valuation for its stock may be drawing to a close. On the industry cycle front, global AI capital expenditure is shifting from rapid expansion toward prudent validation. After massive pu

The Worst of the Selloff May Be Over: Straddle Profit Taken,Time to Sell Puts💹

English version: The first thing I did this week was not look for a new trade. I closed the straddle I had put on Nvidia last week. The table below summarizes the positions before I flattened the trade. The contrast was striking. The NVDA 227.5 call cost 4.39 and had fallen to 0.24, a loss of 94.53%. The put at the same strike and expiration cost 3.97 and had risen to 13.63, a gain of 243.61%. One leg was almost worthless, while the other had nearly tripled. Together they left the account with a profit of $2,530.50. That is the point of a straddle: you are betting on a large move, not on direction. October Hike Risk Fades: Risk-On Wave Builds as Gold Eyes a Major Breakout

The latest US inflation data had raised concerns that the Federal Reserve could deliver three rate hikes this year. However, recent CME FedWatch data indicate little risk of an additional hike in October. Combined with the continued decline in Treasury yields, this suggests that risk on trading may dominate in the near term. As the fourth quarter approaches, however, any rally in risk assets could prove to be the “last dance.” Even a sharp advance should not be mistaken for a durable trend. $E-mini S&P 500 - main 2612(ESmain)$ $S&P 500(.SPX)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$

Weekly Report: Key Views Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of our Macro Strategy Weekly. Each issue features market strategy insights from selected contributors with relevant professional expertise. We also track how their views perform each week. Here is a preview of this week’s key ideas: 1. Near Term Direction for US Equities Remains Unclear, Pending CPI and TSMC Earnings The baseline scenario for US equities this week remains consolidation near current highs. A downside break is the next most likely outcome, followed by a move to new highs and a higher trading range. All three scenarios remain possible. Easing diplomatic tensions ahead of the election should support market stability and may delay a larger correction, although a modest near term pullback remains a risk. The

The U.S. equity market has reached a near-term high. The hardest task now is not finding opportunities, but determining what the current volatility actually means. A pullback could be a minor interruption within a consolidation phase, or it could mark the start of a decline. 💰 Can GPUs Become Financial Assets? Inside NVIDIA’s $500B AI Financing Bet

$NVIDIA(NVDA)$’s GPUs already power much of the AI boom. Now the company wants Wall Street to view them differently: not simply as technology hardware, but as productive assets that can help support billions of dollars of debt. NVIDIA is working with major financial institutions on an initiative aimed at enabling as much as $500 billion of AI infrastructure financing. The broader idea is to bring institutional capital into AI data centers and make NVIDIA-powered computing infrastructure more financeable. That creates a new question for investors: Can an expensive GPU become collateral — and will it hold enough value for Wall Street to lend against it? 🏗️ Why Does NVIDIA Need Wall Street? Macro Strategy Weekly:Treasury Yields Above 5%,How to Position for a Potential Long-Bond Rebound?

Weekly Overview Treasuries are the market’s pricing anchor. With the 10-year Treasury yield above 5%, equities, gold, and crypto assets all need to be reassessed in light of high-rate pressure. The Treasury Department’s earlier buybacks failed to reverse the trend in long-dated bonds. A peak in yields still needs confirmation. If oil remains range-bound, and with the two remaining rate hikes expected this year already priced in, the rise in yields may slow. But an escalation in U.S.–Iran tensions or more hawkish statements from the Fed could change that assessment. The conditions for a bond rebound are building. CTAs’ positioning in 10-year Treasuries is low, while speculative net positions in 10-year Treasuries have moved from deeply bearish to neutral, increasing the possibility of a bon

The Federal Reserve raised rates by 25 basis points in September, lifting the target range for the federal funds rate to 3.75%–4.00%. With inflation pressure prompting a shift in policy, rate expectations have again become a key driver of asset prices. Options positioning on September 25 showed a defensive tilt even as Nasdaq 100 futures rebounded: traders added near-the-money puts. Gold call positions expanded at higher strikes alongside downside protection, while new Bitcoin call positions appeared to reflect a short-term test of the upside. Against the backdrop of the rate hike, traders have not moved uniformly toward risk. The next question is whether prices can confirm the signals at key levels. CoreWeave’s drop really caught my eye. The company actually beat on earnings, but the lowered full-year guidance clearly scared the market. The stock basically fell off a cliff straight into the high-80s. Here’s how I see it: The revised guidance isn’t ideal, but it doesn’t change the bigger picture — CoreWeave is still one of the fastest-growing names in the AI infrastructure space. Demand for compute isn’t slowing, and CoreWeave still sits in a sweet spot with cloud GPU capacity, especially with how crazy AI workloads are getting. What worries me a bit is the volatility. When expectations are sky-high, even a slight guidance cut can send the stock into a freefall like this. So the question is: is this a real warning sign, or just the market overreacting (again)? Personally, dips like thi

“Is buying below US$90 wise?” If I were to summarise: Yes, it could be a reasonable speculative opportunity — provided you are comfortable with high risk and volatility, and you believe the AI infrastructure growth trajectory continues strong. But no, it is not a “safe” or conservative investment by any means. Here are scenarios: • Best case: The company executes well, continues to scale, reduces losses / turns to profit or stronger free‐cash flow, and the AI cloud infrastructure remains a structural growth story. Then buying at US$90 might yield substantial upside over medium term. • Worst case: Growth slows, spending overruns, competition intensifies (or new technologies reduce their advantage), or macro pressures (interest rates, inflation) bite. Then a US$90 entry could lead to signifi
