      Lightstorm signed consortium agreements with Singtel Microsoft and Tata Communications to build a submarine cable system that will link India's east coast to Singapore and Malaysia.The 3,600-kilometer I-2SEA is expected to be service-ready by the fourth quarter of 2029 and is designed for AI workloads, according to a Thursday statement from the city-state's AI connectivity platform operator.Under the agreement, NEC Corp. was named system supplier while ASEAN Cableship was the marine installation partner.
