$Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd.(GLXY)$  Bull: Galaxy swung to a $323M net profit from an $85M loss, with adjusted EBITDA of $455M. Digital asset trading volumes rose 12%, the loan book grew 27%, and assets under management and stake reached $10.4B. Helios delivered its first 133MW to CoreWeave, and management targets an $800-850M annualized leasing run rate by end-2027. A $4.9B cash and Treasuries cushion and a new $200M buyback add support. Bear: Much of the profit came from investment valuation gains, so it can reverse with crypto prices. Helios depends heavily on one tenant, CoreWeave, which carries about $35.6B of debt. Shares fell roughly 30% in early October on those worries, and large construction debt adds execution risk.

Sometimes, I let the options market pay me while I continue holding my shares. I have been using regular covered calls on NVIDIA (NVDA) to collect premiums. Earnings Bombs

Thursday was another rough day for the AI trade. The $S&P 500(.SPX)$ dropped -0.3%, while the $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ fell -1.4%. Earlier in the week, Semis rallied 3 straight days on $Anthropic(ANT)$ ’s IPO filing. That bounce didn’t last. $Alphabet(GOOG)$ led the way down today (-12.6%). And after the bell, it got even worse. Fed Recap The Fed held rates steady yesterday at 3.75%-4%. On Sunday, I said this would be a pretty boring FOMC, and it mostly was. The 1 wrinkle was the vote. It was 10-2, with Lisa Cook and Beth Hammack both dissenting in favor of a hike. Cook hadn’t dissented once since joining the Fed in 2022. War

4 best Daily Charts - $SPX, $QQQ, $AMZN & $NVDA

The latest selloff has left the market with very different technical setups. Some charts are approaching key support, while others are showing conditions that could favor a short-term relief rally. **My little win with Alphabet (Google)\! 🚀💰**

What a roller coaster these past two days with Alphabet (GOOGL)\! The stock had some pretty big moves, and it was definitely an interesting couple of days to watch the market. As someone still relatively new to options trading, I'm learning as I go, and every trade is an experience. This time, I managed to walk away with a **$460 profit\! 🎉** Not a life-changing amount, but definitely a happy moment for me. It's exciting to see a trade work out, especially when I'm still learning and gaining confidence along the way. I'm not an expert trader, just someone exploring the market, making small moves, and enjoying the journey. One trade at a time. Plenty more to learn, and hopefully more little wins ahead\! Sharing this little milestone because I'm happy with the result. 😊 #Alphabet #Google #GO

GOOGL Just Had Its Worst Day Ever — And Revenue Wasn't the Problem

Alphabet just delivered a lesson the market will not forget: in the AI era, growth is no longer enough. Cash flow is the verdict. On Thursday, October 29, Alphabet's Class A shares (GOOGL) plunged 12.64% to $283.82, down $41.07 from Wednesday's $324.89 close. It was the stock's worst single day on record, wiping out roughly $500 billion in market value in one session. The sell-off did not stop there: GOOGL fell another 1.4% on Friday to $279.84. And here is the twist that makes this story worth discussing: the quarter itself was not weak. What Alphabet Actually Reported Third-quarter revenue rose 25% year over year to $127.58 billion. Google Cloud was the standout, with revenue jumping 103% to $30.71 billion. Search revenue grew 12% to $63.35 billion, and operating income rose 30% to $40.6

AMD fell 10.9% on Friday. After the drop, its options price an earnings move of ±8.8%.

$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$   $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$   $AppLovin Corporation(APP)$   That matters to anyone holding options through Tuesday's report. The one-day drop was bigger than the whole priced earnings move. Here is how I read it, and how you can check the same thing on any stock. WHY AMD FELL The driver was the chip sector, not AMD's own news. The chip index fell 7.2% on the day, and its members repriced together. Intel set it off. Its own release guided fourth-quarter revenue to $15.0B to $16.0B, against an LSEG consensus of $17.07B. Intel closed down 28.6% on the day. WHAT THE OPTIONS DID So the options market r

TOPTxy: Another reason is stock markets has drop before election results because of uncertainty. Once the final makeup of the House and Senate is confirmed, even as a split the markets frequently stage a strong "relief rally" because the unknown factor is gone. Next week is crucial.

THE SELL-OFF WASN'T A SURPRISE

Yesterday, I shared the $E-mini Nasdaq 100 - main 2612(NQmain)$ chart highlighting major technical cracks across the tape. The sharp bearish reaction to Amazon’s earnings reinforced a high probability of holding Thursday night’s breakdown formation at the very least. Today’s selloff comes as no surprise: while the flush could have extended into next week, the directional bias was south following last night’s close. The broader short setup began taking shape on Tuesday after indecisive price action printed a series of lower highs that again, I posted in my daily note. While Wednesday traded relatively neutral, corporate earnings served as the downside catalyst after the bell, just as noted on Tuesday when highlighted that rate hike probabilitie

Intel Has Suffered a Historic Sell-Off. Is Buying the Dip a Mistake?

When a major technology stock falls sharply in a single trading session, the natural reaction for some investors is to look for a buying opportunity. Intel is a good example of why that approach can be dangerous. Following its latest earnings report, Intel experienced one of its worst daily share-price declines in decades. Despite reporting its quarterly results, the company’s forward guidance disappointed investors, raising concerns about how quickly its turnaround can translate into sustainable financial performance. What makes this situation interesting is that some analysts believe investors should stay away, even after such a significant decline. As investment consultant Dan Kemp put it: “A cheaper stock does not necessarily offer better value.” I think this is an important point wort

The Magnificent 7 Are Losing Their Earnings Edge. Is the Market Entering a New Phase?

For much of the past few years, the Magnificent 7 have dominated the US stock market. Their leadership has been supported by strong earnings growth, enormous cash reserves, global market positions and, more recently, the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence. However, the latest third-quarter earnings estimates are raising an interesting question: Is the earnings advantage of these seven technology giants beginning to narrow? According to FactSet earnings analyst John Butters, the blended EPS growth rate for the Magnificent 7 has fallen to 22.6%, compared with 33.6% a month earlier. More surprisingly, the other 493 companies in the S&P 500 are now expected to deliver 32.6% earnings growth. In other words, the broader market is currently expected to grow earnings faster than the co

SpaceX Set the AI Earnings Bar. Why Couldn’t the Rest of Tech Keep Up?

What a difference a few days can make in the stock market. Earlier in the week, SpaceX delivered a stronger-than-expected third-quarter earnings report, helping restore confidence in the AI investment story. Yet by Friday, technology stocks were under significant pressure, and SpaceX itself had fallen below its $135 IPO price. The contrast is worth examining. The market is not necessarily losing faith in artificial intelligence. Instead, investors appear to be raising their expectations about how quickly massive AI investments should translate into financial returns. SpaceX: The Earnings Benchmark SpaceX delivered a particularly strong set of third-quarter results on October 20. The company reported: • Revenue of $14.58 billion, up approximately 161% year over year. • Net income of approxi

Apple Turns to Alibaba for AI in China. A New Opportunity for Alibaba’s Qwen?

Apple’s latest AI move in China is worth watching, not just because of what it means for iPhone users, but because it highlights how the global AI competition is developing. Apple has announced that the first batch of Apple Intelligence features will begin testing in China on November 4 alongside its iOS developer beta, with a broader rollout expected through the iOS 27.3 update in December. The interesting part is Apple’s choice of AI partner. Rather than relying entirely on its own models, Apple has partnered with Alibaba and will integrate its Qwen large language model to support Apple Intelligence features in mainland China. This is an important development for both companies. 1. Why Apple Needs a Local AI Partner Apple has a strong global ecosystem, but bringing AI features to mainlan

Higher for longer meets the biggest debt since 1946. What 80 years of data say.

Core PCE inflation is 3.1%. In the five cycles since 1990, the Fed has not once started cutting with core PCE inflation at 3% or above. At the same time, US debt is nearly back to 1946 levels. Those two facts pull against each other. Here is what the long record says about each, and a scorecard you can run on any indebted government. 1. THE 3% LINE I looked at the six major cutting cycles from 1989 to 2024, measuring core PCE inflation in the month before each first cut. Since 1990, the highest reading at a first cut was 2.9%, in Sep 2024. The last first cut with core PCE inflation at 3% or more was Jun 1989, at 4.4%. Today core PCE inflation is 3.1%, and the last hike was only 1.5 months ago. Across the six major cutting cycles from 1989 to 2024, the Fed held at its peak for a median 7.5
